Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens.
This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live.

Congratulations UCA All Stars 2009

The Christian ideal of putting others first is what we strive for in our cheerleading program. The team we cheer for is first, followed then by what the cheerleaders want to do. We want to promote a positive spirit for our Mustangs!

Cheerleading Priorities

1. A cheerleader's first responsibility is to her academic program. The educational process should not be compromised by participation in cheerleading.
2. The primary function of a cheerleading program is to support interscholastic athletics.
A. Assist in creating an atmosphere of spirit and support throughout the school.
B. Encourage, coordinates, and directs crowd involvement at athletic events.
C. Create a cooperative spirit between the squad, the student body, and the other spirit groups, like the pep club and the pep band.

3. A cheerleader has the responsibility to uphold, to reflect, and to project the goals and the ideals of the school.

Saftey is important to us.  All five cheer coaches are certified in saftey by the American Association of Cheer Coaches and Advisors (AACCA.)
